Mysa’s small-group workshops focus on one real-life topic at a time. With only two to four participating households, there is space to observe each dog, discuss individual situations and practise with close guidance.

Each workshop can be booked separately. You do not need to attend the complete series.

Become a Magnetic Owner

Being magnetic does not mean dominating your dog or constantly demanding attention. It means becoming someone your dog naturally wants to check in with—someone who communicates clearly, understands what is happening and provides the right support at the right time.

This workshop explores how trust, relevance, clarity and well-timed guidance influence the relationship between dog and owner.

You will learn how to:

  • Become more relevant in distracting environments
  • Give clear and consistent guidance
  • Respond at the right moment
  • Offer support without creating dependence

Children & Dogs: Safe Relationships

Dogs and young children can have a warm relationship, but both need clear boundaries, appropriate supervision and a home environment in which they can feel safe.

This workshop teaches families how to recognise when a dog needs space, guide a child’s interactions and prevent stressful situations before they develop.

Topics include:

  • Safe and respectful contact
  • Resting spaces that children do not enter
  • Reading stress, avoidance and discomfort
  • Managing toys, food and exciting situations
  • Teaching children suitable ways to approach a dog
  • Preventing unwanted chasing, grabbing or crowding
  • Helping both the child and dog feel secure

03 / Small-Group Workshop

Harmony in Multi-Dog Homes

Living with several dogs requires more than allowing them to work everything out themselves. Each dog needs appropriate space, attention, rest and support, while the household needs clear routines that prevent unnecessary tension.

This workshop helps owners understand the relationships within their group of dogs and create a safer, calmer daily structure.

Topics include:

  • Recognising tension between dogs
  • Managing food, toys, resting spaces and attention
  • Understanding each dog’s individual needs
  • Preventing one dog from constantly pressuring another
  • Creating separate rest and recovery opportunities
  • Managing greetings, movement and exciting moments
  • Supporting stable relationships without forcing closeness

04 / Small-Group Workshop

Dog-to-Dog Communication & Polite Greetings

Learn how to read communication between dogs and recognise comfort, hesitation, rising tension, excitement and the need for more distance. We discuss what a polite greeting looks like, when an interaction should continue and when the handler should step in.

The lesson includes controlled, individually adapted interactions. It is not uncontrolled group play, and dogs will not be required to greet every other dog.

You will learn how to:

  • Read body language and comfort levels
  • Recognise polite and impolite approaches
  • Support your dog before tension increases
  • Manage distance and movement
  • Guide greetings calmly
  • End an interaction at the right time

Is a small-group workshop suitable for my dog?

The workshops are designed around controlled learning rather than uncontrolled social contact. Before reserving a place, please provide honest information about your dog’s behaviour around dogs, adults and children.

Dogs with a known bite history, severe aggression or behaviour that makes a group environment unsafe may need an individual behaviour assessment before joining a workshop. This does not automatically mean that the dog cannot participate; it allows Mysa to recommend the safest and most useful format.

One capable adult handler is required for each participating dog unless Mysa agrees to another arrangement in advance.
