Behaviour Observation & Dog Care

Zoe

Zoe has studied Companion Animal Science and Canine Behaviour, giving her a deeper understanding of how dogs communicate, learn and respond to their environment.

She takes time to understand the individual dog before deciding how to approach or communicate with them. She pays close attention to body language, changes in energy, stress signals, excitement, hesitation, confidence, daily routines and the dog’s relationship with different handlers.

Zoe believes that small details often explain why a dog feels or behaves differently in a particular situation. Through careful observation, she works to identify what helps the dog feel understood and what form of communication is clearest for that individual.

Her role brings together behavioural observation, individual care and practical everyday understanding. She aims to build calm communication and trust while helping to find an approach that both the dog and owner can use consistently.

Dog Trainer & Behaviour Support

Evan

Evan has six years of hands-on experience working closely with dogs and as a dog trainer. His experience includes working dogs, puppy foundation and development, dogs with established behavioural problems, and dogs with severe trauma histories.

Working with dogs from very different backgrounds has taught him that effective training cannot be reduced to one fixed method. He considers the dog’s temperament, motivation, emotional state, previous learning, everyday environment and relationship with the handler before deciding how the training should be structured.

Evan’s approach combines clear communication, consistency, well-timed guidance, encouragement and rewards. He adjusts the pace and training plan to the individual dog rather than expecting every dog to respond in the same way.

His work extends beyond teaching individual commands. He helps dogs understand what is expected of them, build more stable responses and carry trained behaviour into ordinary daily life. He also gives owners practical guidance so that the communication and routines developed during training can continue at home.
